Dear Parents and Students,

Welcome back to the 2016-2017 school year! I trust you had a restful and rejuvenating summer.

I would like to take this opportunity to welcome all of you, especially the class of 2020 to Colony High School! We are excited for the upcoming 2016- 2017 year school! The promise of continuing to raise the standards of our learning community is exhilarating! The possibilities of success for all of our students are endless.

Here is Registration Information for the 2016-2017 school year:

Freshmen, with last names A-L will attend our Freshman Orientation on Wednesday, July 27.  Freshman with last names M-Z will attend Freshman Orientation on Thursday, July 28.  The orientation for both days will begin at 8am-12noon in the gym. Please arrive early for check-in. Parents, we will have a Freshman Parent Orientation beginning at 8:20 a.m. in our Performing Arts Theater.

 Seniors, Juniors, and Sophomores student schedules for will be distributed as follows:

Seniors (Class of '17) Tuesday, July 26 7:30-9:30
Juniors (Class of '18) Tuesday, July 26 10:00-12:00
Sophomores (Class of '19) Tuesday, July 26 1:00-3:00

Please make sure that all items in the registration packet are completed and turned in.

Our first day of school is Monday, August 8th. Please ensure that your student is in their classroom at 7:25 am. Please know that there will be traffic congestion on Riverside Drive and Mill Creek therefore, plan accordingly.

We start this year with great anticipation and excitement! Our Titans will shine in the classroom, on the field and in the Arts. As our staff and faculty are busily getting ready for the school year, I hope you are ready to dive into school. With that mind, please know that our work here together is important, that you have the capacity to go beyond the expected, and that we will never give up on each other!

I am thankful for all the teachers, coaches and staff who pour so much into our students.  I am also honored to be part of a community that supports the collective work of the learning community. I look forward to seeing all of you on Monday August 8th as we celebrate a brand new school year.
