Dear parents, 

It is hard to believe but it is close to the end of the school year!!!! This academic year flew by! It simply means the learning community at Colony is having a good time in spite of the tough economic times. It is a privilege to work with a staff whose priority is student achievement and preparing our students to be contributors to the 21^st century. 

Our sophomores have completed their California High School Exit exam. We are expecting great results from this class. In addition, our 9^th, 10^th and 11^th graders completed the California Standards Test popularly known as the STAR test. We appreciate your assistance in getting our students ready as they demonstrated their knowledge! We now ask that our students finish strong as we prepare for final exams. 

Our Finals for our 9^th, 10^th and 11^th graders are as follows: 

School begins at 7:30 am and ends at 11:50 am on those days. 

For Seniors: 

May 17 and 18 – periods 2, 4, 5, 6 (regular schedule - one hour each day) 

May 21– periods 1 & 3 (2- hour block same as all other students) 

The end of the year is always exciting for our graduating seniors! We have a slew of senior activities that is meant to motivate our seniors to finish strong, but also have fun as we culminate their high schools careers. Every senior will be given 8 tickets for their families. 

Graduation is my favorite time of year! I look forward to seeing all our graduates at Titan Stadium on Tuesday May 22^nd!
