Get Involved - Join the COHS PTSA

Welcome:
Welcome parents, teachers, and students to the 2016-2017 school year. We encourage everyone to become a member and support the Colony High School PTSA. The "S" in PTSA stands for students. We encourage students to get involved. Join and have a voice. By joining the PTSA you will be supporting your school and helping provide funds that the school will use towards programs for the students. Your membership dollars help build Colony High School's Scholarship Fund as well as support a number of clubs on campus. If you have a college bound senior it is very important that your senior student and at least one parent are members by the end of the second quarter in order to be eligible for the PTSA Scholarship. If you would like to be on the PTSA email list, make sure to include your email address on the registration envelope. PTSA members are eligible for discounts from Office Max, Enterprise Car Rental, T-Mobile, and many other places.

Volunteers:
your involvement and participation provides support to our athletic teams during some of our busiest times of the year. We are always looking for volunteers to help at home football and basketball games, CIF games, as well as other functions throughout the year, including Registration, Back to School Night, 8th Grade Orientation, Bingo Night, and the Annual Food Truck Event. The more participation we have, the more we are able to give back to our students and school. Dads, don't be shy. We need our young men and women to see your presence too. If you are interested please let us know through a phone call to your school, on your PTSA Membership envelope, or emailing us at ptsacolony@gmail.com. An hour or two during the school year makes a big difference. Contact us today! Together we can make a difference.

Shop Local Business:
Colony High School has established many partnerships with local businesses where they give back a small percentage of money spent in their stores to Colony High School. All you have to do is take the time to register your store cards. Participating businesses will send donations directly to Colony PTSA. It's an easy way to support our school. The Colony High School PTSA Board members are all looking forward to a great 2016-2017 school year with much involvement with the parents, staff, students, and community. Please consider getting involved and help us show our Colony students how much we care about their successes. Our meetings are held the second Tuesday of every month at 3:00 p.m. in the main conference room. All are welcome to attend. Hope to see your around campus this year.

Sincerely,
