    Principal's Message

    Dear Parents

I hope all of you had a restful Thanksgiving. I am thankful for our school community, our teachers and staff, and all the unsung parents and volunteers who do so much for our school. Thank you!

It is hard to believe, but our first semester is about to come to an end. As we head into our second semester, I want to remind everyone of our upcoming WASC visit.  The visiting team will come on Sunday, February 10, and they will be with us until that Wednesday.  This is an exciting time because it allows us the opportunity to share with everyone our successes!  Please see the Quick Link on the side of our webpage for more information, including ways you can be involved!

Our Fall sports have come to a successful conclusion. Our Boys and Girls Cross Country Teams had a great season with Girls Cross Country qualifying for CIF! Congratulations to our teams! Our girls’ volleyball, boys’ water polo team and girls’ tennis also played hard in a very competitive Palomares League. Our football team made CIF after taking second in league.  The drama department just finished a great production of Almost Maine, and our Titan Regiment continues to be one of the best bands in our area, continuing to grow and represent our school as an elite program! They are a pleasure to witness.

These final weeks will no doubt be as busy as we prepare for finals. Please make it a point to insist that all assignments are completed on time and that we all finish the semester strong. There are STEP Saturdays, after school tutoring, and Academy time for any student who need that extra time or support.  Our finals schedule is posted above, and I know our students will be successful.

I am honored to be working with all of you. Thank you for your continued commitment to our students, and I wish everyone a fantastic holiday season!

    Sincerely,

All Colony High School students will graduate college and career ready.

    Mission Statement

It is our mission, along with the entire CJUHSD, to prepare our students to live healthy and engaged lives as productive members of their community.  Our College Readiness curriculum  blends real world applications with the University of California’s A-G requirements.  All students will be given access to rigorous curriculum, with support provided when necessary to achieve this goal.  Our Career Readiness, emphasized by the acronym TCELL, infuses technology skills, career exploration, employability skills, life skills, and encourages life-long learners.  Colony believes that this Career and College Readiness will allow our students to be successful and productive members of any community.
