    Principal's Message

    Dear Titans,

Welcome back, Colony!  Second semester is off to a fast start, and the transition has been smooth.   It’s hard to believe, but the Class of 2019 graduation is only five months away!

We are looking forward to our WASC visit which will take place February 10-13.  We are very proud of the work that we do in providing our students the foundation for their futures.  I am very grateful for the Colony faculty and staff, each of whom continues to work diligently to ensure that all of our students have opportunities to succeed.  Our commitment to providing quality academic programs remains one of our top priorities. Additionally, our students are currently engaged in winter sports and activities.  I encourage everyone to come out and support our students in their games and performances.

Our mission is that we graduate all students career and college ready. With this goal in mind, we continue to challenge our students with rigorous classes and high expectations. As a part of this commitment, we are preparing our students to perform well on the CAASPP assessments that take place each year for our junior class.  We’re excited because these assessments offer our students the opportunity to showcase their learning and our commitment to their continued success.

In order for our students to be successful, it is important that all students are in school daily. Students who are not in attendance miss out on valuable instruction. We’re looking to finish the year strong, and attendance is a critical piece to student success.  Please assist us in doing everything we can to ensure students are on-time and present every day.

As always, we know our partnership with our students, parents, and community ensures our students will be successful. We appreciate your support and commitment in helping provide our students the foundation for their future goals.
